As part of TradeInternet's commitment to providing quality hosting using the latest software, we are migrating many customers to a newer, more resiliant, server with a bigger capacity to handle larger the increased load caused by our client's success.
Site will be moved over in phases rather than all at once and you will be told about the scheduled transfer period when the time comes.
The move will cause no disruption to most customers and minimal downtime (less than an hour) to those with more complex sites that require database synchronisation or have payment gateways to transfer.
You may need to re-configure your e-mail client to ensure that it is looking at the new server after the transfer if you have set-up your account using an IP address instead of the domain. More information is available below on this subject.
POP3 server: mail.YOURDOMAIN.COM
SMTP server: mail.YOURDOMAIN.COM (e.g. mail.tradeinternet.co.uk)
Other settings including username & password are unchanged
You should change your servers to this (instead of the IP such as 78.31.107.21) as soon as possible - this can be done before the transfer happens without any problems.
