From the cPanel main menu, click on the Mail icon. This will take you to the Mail menu.
The following options may or may not be available depending on your hosting package;
- Web Mail (currently inactive) - Allows you to read mail that is left on the server online
- Email Domain Forwarding - Sends all e-mail for a domain to the same address at another domain. E.g. setting up yourdomain.co.uk -> yourdomain.com means that jj@yourdomain.co.uk will be sent to jj@yourdomain.co.uk
- Manage/Add/Remove Accounts - This sections manages POP3 accounts. POP3 account are places where mail is stored. If you set-up a POP3 account, mail will be sent there and stored until it is collected. You would use outlook or some other e-mail program to collect the mail.
- Default Address - This is the 'catch all' address. The address that mail is sent to if no other option is found.
- Auto-responders - If you want an e-mail automatically sent back then this is the place to do that.
- E-mail Filtering - If you want to process mail in a special way, you can set up rules here to do that. E.g. if the address has spam in the subject, delete it.
- Forwarders - THese are individual mail forwarding rules. You could set up a rule similar to domain forwarding, except for an individual address. E.g. sales@yourdomain.co.uk -> mark@yourdomain.co.uk
- SpamAssassin - This is the anti spam software. You can switch it on or off and adjust the settings. Please contact technical support if you are unsure about this option.
